Given below are some of the existing scholarships/prizes given for the general welfare of students and staff. We are open to more such scholarships or new categories of scholarships.
Higher Education Support for Children of Staff
Class of PGP 2008 as part of their giving back to their alma mater on the occasion of their 10th year reunion celebrations instituted an endowment “Class of PGP 2008 Higher Education and Welfare Fund” that provides Education scholarships to the children of staff at IIMB and meet medical emergency. This is a needs cum merits scholarship and is open to sub contracted staff too whose annual family income is less than Rs 6 lakhs p.a. The total support available for this is around Rs 1.80 lakhs per annum. Financial support is provided throughout the entire period of study on an annual basis i.e. for Classes 11 and 12 for schooling and during all years of graduation.
Merit Scholarship for Children of Staff
Class of PGP 2001 instituted an endowment “Class of PGP 2001 scholarship”. The scholarship is awarded for children’s of IIMB staff members on the merit-cum-need basis. The idea mooted during their 10th year reunion was to reciprocate the family-like support and look out provided by the staff members during their 2 years of stay at IIMB while they were pursuing their post graduate program. The scholarship amount is Rs 50,000 for one student.
Student Medical Emergency Fund
